We will look after the audio side of your project from start to finish with love. From developing a sound concept with you from the script stages through the shoot and the edit up to the final mix and all deliveries.

Field Recording

Ambiences form the basis of every soundscape. At Ginger Cat Audio we embrace even the most extreme conditions to capture the right sound for your project, implementing a variety of recording setups up to 7.0.4.

Driven by our passion for recording natural environments, we have additionally built an archive of beautiful and one-of-a-kind ambiences from mountains, volcanoes, glaciers, cave systems, and urban spaces.

FX Editing and Sound Design

A playful and experimental approach to the sound design process is at the core of what we do.

With several Terabytes of our own recorded sound effects as well as a wide array of commercial libraries, we strive to strike the right tone for your project. If we can't find something we record and design it, working with various skilled foley artists and foley studios to create custom sound FX.

Dialogue Editing

Dialogue captured on location has its own unique character that we do our utmost to preserve, nurture and let shine. We constantly stay up to date with technological advancements and can confidently rescue dialogue which was impossible to save only a few years ago. When necessary we will record ADR with you and blend it in so it does not stand out.

Mixing

We are both experienced in working in all formats including Dolby ATMOS. As we are both re-recording mixers at heart, we know to keep a keen eye on the final mixing stage throughout the entire process - making sure everything we create for your project is coherent from start to finish. This frees the mixing process up to be more creative and playful. While the mixing stage is still the place where all the different elements are balanced and finalised a lot of these can be experimented with earlier in the project which saves precious financial resources.
